If your acid reflux is keeping you up at night, try sleeping on your left-hand side instead of your right-hand side or your back. This makes a difference because the esophagus and stomach are tied at an angle and when sleeping on your left side, your stomach is lower than your esophagus. When you sleep on the right-hand side, your stomach is higher than your esophagus, which causes acid to go up your throat, leading to acid reflux.
